ÎLE DE BENDOR
Set a stone’s throw away from the enchanting seaside village of Bandol, nestled in the hypnotic waters of the Côte d’Azur, lies one of the most iconic backdrops of the French Riviera's golden age — Île de Bendor. First imagined and brought to life 70 years ago by Paul Ricard, creator of Ricard — the beloved French licorice-flavoured apéritif “pastis,” a summertime ritual woven into Provençal culture, savored over ice, turning milky when touched by water. On his private island, Ricard rewrote the rules of Riviera living, and Île de Bendor became its own historic Mediterranean gem — a secret hideaway where artists, dreamers, and film stars slipped off the map and danced barefoot in the sand.
Soon, in summer 2026, Zannier Hotels joins forces with the Ricard family to open its gates once more. Join us as we celebrate our love in a place where the days blur into nights and the sea has its own way of keeping secrets. Come for the magic. Stay for the memories.
And most importantly — be prepared to get a little wild...

Ile de Bendor
For the weekend we have privatized the island so that everyone can stay in one place. Ile de Bendor has just under 100 rooms, with three accommodation styles (Delos, Soukana, Madrague) you will be able to choose from.
Delos
Delos encapsulates the stylish and refined spirit of the French Riviera in the 1960’s. A historic location for the jet-set, the iconic Delos pool has been transformed for a new era of poolside glamour and guests will have access to the diving center, cosy bar and gastronomic restaurant.
Soukkana
With close access to the Wellbeing Center and Neptune Garden, stays at Soukana focus on nature-based activities, wellness programmes and family-bonding. A stylish rooftop bar offers the best views on the island, plus a 30-meter pool overlooking the bay and fusion restaurant.
Madrague
Located near the buzz of the harbour and exuding the rustic and elegant simplicity of the locale, the five Madrague Houses, each with their own private garden, are perfect for families or groups of friends travelling together.
RESTAURANTS & LOUNGES
3 restaurants, 4 bars, a café and creperie sit amidst the seven-hectare island offering a wide variety of culinary experiences with guest chefs, to all-day dining and menus inspired by Mediterranean; healthy juices and artisanal cocktails.

FAQs
GUESTS & +1s
Due to the limited capacity of the island, we are only able to accommodate guests exactly as listed on the invitation. If you received a +1, it will be noted on your invite. Thank you so much for understanding — we truly wish we could host everyone.
CHILDREN
We adore your little ones, and we understand that for some guests, it may not be possible to leave children at home. In those cases, children are welcome to stay on the island for the weekend. We kindly request that they do not attend any of the wedding events themselves. Because there are a limited number of rooms on the island, families bringing children should reserve a suite or a room that accommodates three guests, as we aren’t able to provide additional rooms for children or caregivers. The hotel can assist with arranging on-island nanny services during the events. Thank you so much for understanding.
ROOM BOOKING
Once your RSVP is confirmed, our room coordinator will be in touch to share accommodation options. You’re welcome to browse room descriptions on the hotel’s website, though currently only about half of the room categories are listed; the remaining categories will be added over the next month as the hotel prepares to open. For July 3 – 6, we have arranged a preferred rate of approximately 30% below the standard peak-season pricing shown online. Please note that the hotel requires a three-night minimum stay. If you plan to stay fewer nights, we kindly ask that you book accommodations in the port of Bandol, where a quick 10-minute tender runs to and from the island.
